A mainland foreign branch is a branch of a foreign company that is established in mainland Dubai, outside the free zone areas. The mainland branch, just like free zone branches, can also get 100% foreign business ownership in the company without involving a UAE national as a sponsor.
A Foreign Branch Office in the UAE is a registered company that is an extension of the foreign parent company. It is not a separate legal entity from the foreign parent company, and therefore, its commercial activities must remain the same as those of the parent company.
